Welcome to Big Sky Country!

Flying Montana

Montana is a large state with unique flying conditions. High density altitudes, mountain weather, remote airports, sparse radar coverage, and little flight following, all challenge the visiting pilot. The following is an eclectic mix of references to help you prepare and make your visit more enjoyable. Links will open into a new window.
